HIBISCUS–ORANGE

Ruby-bright hibiscus, rounded rose hips, and fragrant orange peel create a lively caffeine-free cup with tart fruit character and a clean citrus finish.

STARTER FORMULA

For one 8 fl oz cup

1 tsp dried hibiscus

1 tsp dried orange peel

1 tsp rose hips

 

PREPARATION

1. Measure the botanicals into a roomy infuser.

2. Add 8 fl oz water just off the boil—about 200°F.

3. Cover and steep for 6–8 minutes.

4. Strain and notice the ruby color, bright tartness, and citrus finish.

Ruby-bright, tangy, and fruit-forward with a rounded orange aroma.

 

MAKE IT YOUR OWN

Use less hibiscus for a gentler cup, add orange peel for more citrus lift, or add a little honey after steeping.
